Here we go, the final part to this short series. A tender moment now the Eric is back to his senses. I'm actually very happy how this one turned out. I'm never that good at during a double character shot like this the first try. I must be getting better. Hehe!! .


------Taming the Beast: Acceptance-----

His head pounded as Eric woke from his dazed slumber. His eyes stung from the pale light of the full moon outside as he regains focus. His vision cleared and discovered he was still in his room. He pulled his arms up, feeling the chains rattling, still heavily attached. He gave himself of mental sigh of relief, lying back against his pillows and shutting his eyes once more, wanting to just fall back asleep.
He couldn’t remember anything up to the point he had been chained to the bed by his own friend, Emma; remembering the tears that began to stream from her cheeks. He remember how much he wished he could take away her pain, let her know this was never her fault, but his last thought was of how his stomach twisted in his insides and the unbearable heat that overtook him that moment. The Darkwolf…the werewolf took over and his human self was left to sleep, locked away in a mental cage, helpless to do anything to stop himself from letting the monster lash out and hurt anyone. At least it was over for now as dawn…..
And then it hit him. With a second confused glance Eric looked towards his window and saw that the night still ruled the skies, the stars twinkling and the moon beaming above. But if the moon was still out, then what of him? A quick scan of his chest and arms showed a troubling disbelief. Fur covered and claws bared, Eric discovered that he was still in the form of a werewolf. He was a werewolf….yet his conscious took control again…how?
As he pondered this, a strange and familiar beastly scent began to grow in the air, part of him unable to escape the primal curiosity. His nose lead to discovering Emma locked in her Werefox form, sleeping beside the bed. For a while Eric wanted to wake her, to see if she knew what was happening to him; but he couldn’t bare stirring her from slumber, not after all this. With some strain, Eric began to gently scratch Emma between her ears, hearing her moan lightly. He would never admit it but, human or Werefox, she looked beautiful when she acted playful.
Unintentionally, Emma did wake up, slowly peering over her shoulders and looking up to Eric. With a sleepy, yet fearful tone, she called out his name. He nodded, rousing Emma to her knees.
After a moment of tender gazing, Emma holding Eric’s pawed-hand against her muzzle, Emma felt certain there was no need for the restraints. Crouching under the bed she blew away the bonding seal she had placed to keep the Darkwolf imprisoned and the chains unbreakable. Grabbing the key to the chains Eric’s hands were freed, rubbing the rests from the soreness it provided.
Emma helped Eric to his feet, stumbling a bit, needing to get use to standing on digitigrade feet. Amazingly, having a tail helped with the balance. Another tumble and Emma held his beastly friend up. Once again they locked each others eyes, crying out their most deep, inner thoughts to each other. Eric held Emma’s sides tight, pulling her towards him. She placed her head upon his tufted chest, nuzzling lightly.
She spoke softly as she explained what she had done. When all hope seemed lost, a friend from a far had reached her this night, informing her of a potion she could make. This potion had to be drunk. There was no real cure for true Lycanthrope, but this spell was powerful enough to suppress the dark beast’s cravings and brutality to the point where Eric could be just a normal werewolf, untainted. It was slim chance it would have worked though. She risked her life anyways; seducing the Darkwolf to invite her in for its company, to place her lips against it’s to administer the potion. Her story turned into repeated apologizes, sobbing uncontrollable. Eric wiped off the few droplets of tears from her cheeks, nuzzling softly, showing her it didn’t matter. He wanted to thank her for all she’s done…for bringing him back. He wanted to tell her….how much she loved her.
Emma chuckled lightly as Eric tried to speak, only getting out grunts and yelps. She mentioned that it would take some time before he could talk in his Wereform. At least, they now how all the time in the world to help each other.
